The Conflict Resolution Center Of Baltimore County envisions a world where the power of conflict is used to build strong, stable, and peaceful communities.

CRCBC Believes:

  • People are capable of resolving their own conflicts.
  • Every voice is important.
  • Conflict is better resolved through conversation than through violence or adversarial processes.
  • Solutions are more likely to stick when made by those most directly involved in the situation.
  • Strong communities are safe and stable communities, where relationships are built and connections are made between people.
  • It is important for people to learn constructive ways to resolve conflict.
  • High quality conflict resolution services lead to better solutions for all involved.
  • Everyone deserves access to high quality conflict resolution services.

Our Vision

Vision

Communities and residents of Baltimore County can harness the power of conflict using safe, structured, and effective processes, to build strong, vibrant, and peaceful neighborhoods.  In partnership with individuals, as well as county and state agencies, Baltimore County residents have the resources to resolve harmful situations themselves in meaningful, productive, and proactive ways that bring positive, lasting outcomes.

Mission:

To support the resolution of interpersonal and community conflict through the use of Community Mediation, Community Conferencing, and other restorative justice services and education. CRCBC services are accessible to all persons and organizations in Baltimore County, at convenient times and locations, provided by trained individuals that honor the diversity of the community.
