Marie Schell

Executive Director

Marie joined CRCBC as the interim executive director in September 2019. Marie has over a decade of experience specializing in conflict resolution, facilitation and interpersonal communications. She is the past president of the Board of Directors for the Conflict Resolution Center of Baltimore County, has served as a congressional staffer on Capitol Hill and worked in risk management. Marie holds an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Linda Cowan-Brown

Community Conferencing Program Manager

Linda joined CRCBC as a Facilitator in November 2010. During her first year at the center, Linda facilitated more than 30 successful Community Conferences! Linda came to the center with a background in human services; where the majority of her career has been working with youth and their families. This experience has proven to be a valuable asset for her work at CRCBC. Linda views Community Conferencing as an exciting and different way of working through any problem or conflict!

Annette Romero

Community Conferencing Facilitator

Annette joined CRCBC as a community conferencing specialist. She has held her role as a facilitator since 2014. She is originally from the Philippines and moved to the US in 2002.  Prior to her move here she lived in Europe and while there, she was working with overseas migrant workers focusing on their socio-economic needs.  Annette is also an animal rights advocate.

Jill R. Eisner, Esq.

Mediation Program Co-Manager

Jill joined CRCBC as Mediation Program Co-Manager in October 2019. She is a lawyer, mediator and active community volunteer. She holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland and a B.A. from Duke University. Her legal background includes both private practice and non-profit work.

Karen E. Wilson

Mediation Program Co-Manager

Karen joined CRCBC as Mediation Program Co-Manager in November 2019. She is passionate about non-violent conflict resolution and has a diverse legal background traversing many areas of public service and non-profit work with underserved populations. She holds a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, a B.A. from Franklin University, Switzerland, and is thrilled to call Maryland home. She is excited to support giving voice a venue in the Baltimore County community.

Hyland McConville

Program Coordinator

Hyland joined CRCBC in January 2020 as a Mediation Program Intern. Since then, she has transitioned from her intern status to Intake Coordinator at CRCBC. She holds a M.S. in Negotiation & Conflict Management Studies and a B.A. in Jurisprudence - A Division of Legal, Ethical, and Historical Studies from the University of Baltimore. As a Baltimore native, Hyland is thrilled to be serving the Baltimore County area in a way that creates more resilient and stable communities.

Ashley Fox

Community Conferening Facilitator

Ashley joined CRCBC in January 2021 as a Mediation Program Intern. She has a background in human services, working with youth and assisting them to solve conflicts. Since being an intern in the spring of 2021, Ashley has become a Community Conferencing Facilitator at CRCBC. Ashley holds an M.S. in Negotiations and Conflict Management from The University of Baltimore and a B.A. in Sociology from Morgan State University. She enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family. Ashley looks forward to helping people in the Baltimore community use their voices to work through any conflict matter.
